Description

The Oil and Gas Training Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs for employees in various departments within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to enhance workforce competencies and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

  1. Assess training needs and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to various roles within the organization.

  2. Coordinate and deliver internal and external training sessions, workshops, and seminars. 

  3. Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and compliance with industry standards. 

  4. Collaborate with department managers to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate training solutions. 

  5. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and up-to-date. 

  6. Manage relationships with external training providers and industry organizations. 

  7. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and performance metrics. 

  8. Assist in the development of training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules. 

  9. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training and development, preferably within the oil and gas industry. 

  2. Strong understanding of oil and gas operations, safety regulations, and industry standards. 

  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees. 

  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and training management software. 

  5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
