About the Role:
As the Commercial Supply Chain Assistant - NOA (remote) you will oversee operational supply chain activities and customers based in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Atlantic Region. You will be responsible for the execution of all commercial purchases and sales-related contracts, import and export administration and documentation preparation, shipment and inventory allocations into Oracle, providing excellent customer service to Alcoa's internal customers, administrative support and assistance to the CSC Analysts and Sales Department, processing sales and purchase transactions, preparing commercial invoicing, building and updating regular commercial management reports and performing regular internal controls to meet SOX and Internal Audit requirements, ensuring the appropriate sales processes recorded and reviewed.


Other key responsibilities include:

  • Support the Commercial Supply Chain Supervisor and Commercial Manager in driving regional initiatives and pursuing global alignment opportunities;
  • Work closely with other CSC Analysts to ensure the successful and on-time performance of Alcoa's commercial contract obligations specifically related to Alcoa's sales and international trade activities across North America and the Atlantic region;
  • Ensure all internal and external customers have accurate and timely information;
  • Sales Order, Requisition, and Purchase Order Release (Ship-out, Drop-Ship, Expense) general administration for bauxite, alumina, and aluminum.
  • Execute payments of materials, freight services, dispatch, and demurrage costs to suppliers into Oracle;
  • Create periodic reports, mainly at the end of the month to reconcile values and volumes;
  • Prepare shipping documents for purchase and sales to customers according to the deals in place.

What you can bring to the role:

  • Graduation in progress in Supply Chain, Business, or related fields;
  • Advanced or Fluent English;
  • Previous experience in Commercial, Supply Chain or Customer Service will be a differential;
  • Exposure to Foreign Trade and Logistics, or similar field, invoicing, inventory management, and general customer documentation related to sales processing desirable;
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows Office suit, ability to handle Power BI, macros and VBA will be a differential;
  • Experience in transacting in an ERP desirable (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
