About the role
This is a permanent opportunity, starting with a three-year customised graduate development program. You will work alongside seasoned professionals and rotate across our corporate offices, bauxite mines and alumina refineries based in the Peel and Upper Southwest regions. What you'll be doing
As a Graduate Environmental Scientist at Alcoa, you to learn, grow, and develop hands-on experience and expertise in:
Developing, implementing and maintaining an Environment Management System with a focus on regulatory compliance, risk reduction and best practice.
Assisting with the coordination of environmental risk assessments,
Assisting with the identification any potential environmental impacts and help to develop and implement mitigation strategies to reduce those risks
Assisting to provide support to regional and site environmental teams through functions such as data entry, review and analysis, reporting, review and update of cross-site manuals and procedures, preparation and submission of reports
Assisting with coordination of internal and external environmental audits
Development and mentoring
Throughout the program, you will be provided with:

About you

If you are on the path to graduate by the end of 2025 or have recently completed tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or a related discipline, we want to hear from you!
