About the Role:
As the Supply Chain Planner Jr Analyst (remote) you will be in daily communication with a variety of Alcoa's internal stakeholders, monitor incoming data and it will be key to timely and accurately record supply chain data into business models that allows team members and other departments to perform their roles timely, successfully and with accuracy. Month end reporting and forecasting activities requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while working within tight timeframes; these qualities are crucial. The close working relationship with the Supply Chain team, Commercial and Finance teams require a broad interpersonal skill set to be able to accommodate the various needs.  It will be key to be able to trouble shoot queries, applying problem solving skills to possible contractual and logistical concerns bringing them to light to the pertinent responsible roles. A proactive mindset will also be critical. As part of the Global Alumina and Bauxite Supply Chain team exceptional service, a strong drive to improve processes and optimize service to achieve best practice is expected in this role.


Other key responsibilities include:

  • Manage inputs into supply/demand models and related analysis.
  • Manage inputs into revenue, and profitability models and related analysis.
  • Control shipment and partnership data input to compose weekly/monthly reports.
  • Support Analytics as required by members of the team members.
  • Support the development of digital transformation for Bauxite and Alumina.

What you can bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance or Logistics;
  • Advanced or Fluent English;
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain Analytics or Planning environment;
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows Office suit, ability to handle Power BI, macros and VBA will be a differential.
