We are seeking an experienced recruiter with a passion for people and our industry, to join our Talent Acquisition team.
As a Talent Acquisition Consultant at Alcoa you will work as part of our established team recruiting for our entry talent and trade positions across multiple disciplines, from graduates to apprentices, from mech fitters to E&I technicians - it's truly diverse!
This is a diverse role where you will be undertaking a wide variety of activities including but not limited to:
Work with stakeholders to understand vacancies and volumes required.
Build talent pools of critical talent aligned to our workforce plans.
End to end management of the recruitment process from vacancy briefing to candidate onboarding.
Ensure clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the process and ensure you influence effectively to deliver positive outcomes for the business and applicants.
Drive best practice and look for continuous improvements in our processes and procedures.
Run assessment centres to select best talent.
Support the business objectives of increasing diversity across our operations.
This position is centrally based at our Bindjareb office in Pinjarra with the option to work from home 2 days per week. It is essential that you can travel to site 1-2 days per week which could be based at Mining, Wagerup or Pinjarra.

What you can bring to the role
Tertiary qualifications or Diploma in Human Resources, Business or other relevant discipline would be highly desirable
Experience in all aspects of recruitment with an ability to juggle a portfolio of vacancies and meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate, influence and negotiate successful outcomes.
A passion for people, with a customer centric mentality where you thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of the resources industry would be highly desirable with experience of high volume/blue collar recruitment.
A great team player who will support fellow team members in handling peaks in workload.
