THE ROLE:
As an AMD Graduate Trainee, you'll work alongside experts and industry pioneers, contribute to meaningful projects, develop new skills, and expand your professional network. You'll be enrolled in a 12-month program designed to launch your career and build practical experience. Top performers may be considered for conversion to permanent employees upon successful completion of the program.
JOB DETAILS:
Location: Penang, Malaysia
Program Type: Full-time Graduate Trainee Program
Program Duration: 12 months
Program Start Date: December 7, 2026
Eligibility: Recent graduates who completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree within one year of the program start date.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform month end close, expense review and accruals/reclassification and support accounting treatment
- Prepare and provide financial updates to leadership team (budget, operating expenses, capital expenses, headcount, etc.)
- Define, design, develop, deploy, and integrate new or modified automation to enhance processes
- Assume full ownership on ad hoc projects, reports and analyses as required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience/exposure to automation and/or AI tools (VBA, RPA, Python, Copilot)
- Advanced knowledge of MS office tools
- Able to work with multiple data sources using tools like Excel, Power BI, Snowflake, SQL, MS Access is an added advantage
- SAP experience preferred
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, computer science, IT, or equivalent
- MBA or CPA preferred
