• Hands-on technical experience with mainstream AI frameworks and inference acceleration libraries, including PyTorch, vLLM, SGLang, Unsloth, TensorRT-LLM and Flashinfer
• Proven track record in GPU kernel development, end-to-end AI workload performance tuning and full-stack GPU software optimization
• Familiarity with AMD MI-series GPU architecture, and the ROCm AI software stack is strongly preferred.
• Strong cross-team communication and technical presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex architectural proposals, solution designs and technical value propositions clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
• BS required; MS preferred, with 1+ years of relevant industry experience in AI engineering, GPU software development or solution architecture.

Success in this role will require deep knowledge of Data Center, Client, AI workloads such as LLM, Generative AI, the candidate needs to have hands-on experiences with various kernel development, various AI models optimization, end-to-end full stack performance optimization and familiar with popular industry projects like pytorch, vLLM, SGLang, Triton, Tilelang, AMD ATOM, AMD AITER on GPU platforms

• Software development and contribution to AMD AI open-source software ecosystems targeting AMD GPU platforms, including ROCm software stack enhancement, custom kernel development, end to end inference optimization; drive code-level contributions to mainstream AI projects (vLLM, SGLang, AMD ATOM, AMD AITER etc.) to ensure full compatibility and optimal performance on AMD GPUs
• Work on end-to-end technical stuff and solution delivery for PoCs; conduct technical troubleshooting, perform GPU hardware-software co-optimization, resolve framework compatibility issues, kernel bottlenecks and full-stack performance bottlenecks, and ensure successful PoC conversion and large-scale customer deployment with measurable performance gains.
• Optimize real-world AI workload pain points, deployment challenges and suboptimal performance for AMD ROCm software stack, MI-series GPU
• Collaborate with global AI engineering teams to explore and land new AI acceleration features on AMD GPUs
