KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Australia Enterprise, Server and Commercial Marketing Strategy
- Develop and own the Australia multi-quarter GTM plan aligned to AMD growth priorities across AI, data center, enterprise, commercial and priority verticals.
- Partner with Australia sales leadership to translate account priorities, segment opportunities and pipeline gaps into marketing investment choices.
- Prioritize programs based on business impact, customer relevance, partner reach and measurable ROI, not activity volume.
- Preferred experience managing multiple agencies concurrently across different marketing projects, with responsibility for delivery quality, budget management and business outcomes.
2. Senior Stakeholder Leadership & Executive Engagement
- Act as the primary marketing partner to Australia sales leadership for QBRs, account planning, launches, priority account reviews and investment recommendations.
- Engage enterprise customers, public sector decision-makers, analysts, agencies and partner executives as the Australia marketing lead when required.
- Bring clear executive-ready messaging, market insight and decision-oriented recommendations to APJ/WW stakeholders.
3. Demand Generation, ABM & Pipeline Accountability
- Design targeted demand generation programs for priority Australia accounts, verticals and growth segments.
- Lead 1:1 and 1:few ABM motions with Sales, BDEs, AEs, GAMs, technical teams and partners.
- Define campaign objectives, audience, KPIs and success measures; report marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline wherever tracking is available.
4. Channel Partner Marketing Leadership
- Plan and activate strategic channel marketing across distributors, resellers, SIs and OEM channel partners in Australia.
- Build a single integrated Australia marketing calendar across enterprise, commercial and channel partner motions.
- Lead partner enablement, content localization and priority play execution with Channel Sales and Channel Enablement teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with key partner marketing counterparts and act as the senior marketing point of contact for priority partner programs.
5. MDF, Co-Marketing Governance, Compliance & ROI
- Own MDF and co-marketing governance for Australia partner programs, including planning discipline, evidence standards, ROI tracking and leadership reporting.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Procurement and RMO teams to maintain audit readiness and compliant execution.
- Provide clear guidance to partners on compliant planning, execution, proof of execution and evidence requirements.
6. OEM / Alliance and Field Marketing Integration
- Orchestrate Australia joint marketing with OEMs and alliance partners where it supports enterprise, commercial or channel outcomes.
- Plan executive briefings, partner summits, roadshows, technical trainings and field events aligned to Australia sales priorities.
- Use agencies for onsite logistics where applicable; this role retains outcome ownership and partner/customer experience accountability.
7. Program Governance, Reporting & Investment Business Cases
- Own end-to-end planning governance for assigned Australia programs, budgets and quarterly investment reviews.
- Build and defend incremental funding cases for APJ/WW Marketing or Finance review when justified by business impact.
- Provide monthly and quarterly performance updates with pipeline impact, ROI learning and recommended investment shifts.
8. Agency Leadership & External Resource Management
- Lead Australia agency partners across demand generation, digital, events, content and creative execution.
- Manage agency planning, performance, budgets, compliance and ROI outcomes.
- Optimize agency resources to deliver scalable, high-quality marketing execution and business impact.
- Leverage agency expertise and AI-enabled capabilities to improve effectiveness, productivity and customer experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- More than 12+ years of B2B technology marketing experience, ideally across enterprise infrastructure, commercial IT, data center, cloud, AI, channel or OEM/alliance marketing.
- 5+ years in a senior country-facing, segment, enterprise or channel marketing leadership role with ownership of strategy, stakeholders, budget governance and business outcomes.
- Proven experience partnering directly with a Country Sales Leader or senior sales leadership team to drive pipeline, market awareness, partner activation and investment prioritization.
- Deep understanding of enterprise buying cycles, multi-stakeholder demand generation and ABM across 1:1 and 1:few account motions.
- Hands-on experience in Australia channel ecosystems, including distributors, VARs, SIs, OEM partners and partner-led demand generation.
- Strong working knowledge of MDF/co-marketing governance, POE discipline, compliance, audit readiness and ROI reporting.
- Experience operating in a matrix environment across Sales, Marketing, Channel, Finance, Procurement, regional and WW teams.
- Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience executing AI-enabled marketing initiatives and driving adoption of AI tools, automation and productivity solutions within a business environment
