Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc. is hiring Business Planning Managers to Create solutions, manage priorities while multitasking and continuously finding ways for team to improve. Design, develop and build the data infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources. Drive improvements to make our analytics effortless by creating and adjusting core data models and storage structures, all while understanding the needs of our users. Document data processes, data lineage, and technical specifications for future reference. Develop of operational metrics dashboards and report key business operational metrics. Develop novel data analysis techniques to provide additional insight into the operational health of the business. Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment and monitoring of data pipelines. Analyze product portfolio for business insights and make recommendations for areas of focus and improvement. Under limited supervision, exercise judgment within defined company procedures and practices to select methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles. Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various AMD products.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.

Alternate combination of education and experience: Employer will accept alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following

1.Unix or Linux environments;

2.Scripting in Python or Shell;

3.Virtualization, Object Oriented design, memory management, or multi-threading;

4.SQL or MS SQL Server;

5.Java or JavaScript;

6.Git;

7.JIRA

8.Data structures;

9.Azure Cloud or AWS Cloud; and

10.Snowflake.
