The Channel Marketing Manager EMEA is a hands-on team lead role responsible for leading a marketing team while owning and activating AMD's commercial channel marketing strategy across Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH). 

This role combines people leadership with direct execution. The incumbent will lead and develop the marketing team while remaining closely involved in planning and delivering ROI-focused AMD-led activities with key channel customers and integrated 360° marketing campaigns. From a channel marketing perspective, the role will lead the DACH region, with a focus on Commercial Client and Server solutions across the Channel and Enterprise business. The incumbent will report to the AMD EMEA Channel Marketing Lead. 

  

The Person: 

Attention to detail and able to take inputs from multiple sources and synthesize them into clear outputs that help drive the right decisions. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills to communicate strategies, marketing tactics and outcomes to fellow business partners and customers alike. 
  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and guide the marketing team while remaining hands-on in the execution of regional key campaigns, customer activities and regional priorities 

  • Set the channel marketing direction for the DACH region, aligning regional priorities with EMEA strategy and partnering closely with in-country Sales and Marketing teams 

  • Plan and execute marketing activities with key customers in cooperation with the respective in-country AMD Sales and Marketing teams. 

  • Own an end-to-end budgeting process for assigned key customers and regional AMD led activities 

  • Drive AMD led above and below the line marketing activities in cooperation with the respective AMD departments 

  • Provide regular KPI and ROI analysis on AMD led marketing initiatives and customer activities 

  • Work with external agencies and internal partners to develop or update EMEA specific marketing content and assets 

  • Ability to proofread, alter, and/or copyright marketing content and assets as needed 

  • Create and design PowerPoint decks for internal and external presentations 

  • Other duties as assigned 

  

Preferred Experience: 

  • Demonstrated team leadership experience, including coaching, prioritizing work and delivering results through others while remaining an active, hands-on contributor 

  • Experience in working closely with sales and account teams to develop collaborative marketing plans 

  • Profound understanding of the EMEA IT industry 

  • Experience in social media and digital marketing required 

  • Demonstrated success in marketing planning, field marketing, event management, and project/ campaign management 

  • Proven knowledge of software tools, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign 

  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to prioritize on their own, and delegate tasks when appropriate 

  • Proven ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment and manage multiple programs at one time 

  • Detailed, analytical, and creative in approach to handling data 

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in German and English 

  • A high performer with a positive attitude who is team-oriented, energetic, and optimistic 

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time 

  • The ideal candidate for this role is ROI focused with strong project management skills, able to build relationships, and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 

  

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  

  • Master's degree or similar, preferred degree in Marketing, Economics or Business Studies
