JOB DETAILS:

• We are a Server SoC Performance Modeling team, we are a part of the Server Performance Group at AMD, Bangalore. We are looking for Masters or Ph.D. students from Computer Science / Engineering, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, who are interested in doing an internship in the industry for 6 months – 1 year.

   

  Performance models written in C++ form the backbone of next generation SoC projections, designing micro-architecture features and driving SoC architecture decisions. We have challenging projects spanning performance modeling for high core count Server SoCs, coherence modeling in caches and interconnects, performance feature modeling and optimizations, and high-level / abstract models.

   

        Required skills:

  1. Strong knowledge of computer architecture
  2. Strong knowledge of C++ is desirable
  3. Projects on Computer architecture or performance modeling and analysis is a bonus
  4. Experience with simulators such as GEM5, Sniper, ChampSim, etc. is a bonus
  5. Good analysis and communication skills
