THE ROLE:

We are looking for a proven sales professional with a growth mindset to help take AMD's Consumer regional business to the next level. This person will be responsible for driving AMD's MNC (OEM) PCs through Retailers and E-tailers in Japan.

  • Demonstrated success in growing the sales of both PC system units and revenue
  • Working with retailers partners in the region to develop plans to collaboratively grow our joint business
  • Strong communicator, comfortable presenting to different audiences across customers and business/partner executives
  • Willing to travel as per business needs; flexibility to travel within the territory
  • Advanced presentation skills

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ownership of Units, Revenue, Market Share, Assortment Mix with an ability to upsell/ cross sell.
  • Act as Executive lead and trusted advisor for the assigned customers at C-Level & below, capable of building coalition to drive win-win outcomes.
  • Leverage & manage tangible opportunities in key Retailers across business segments using business insights.
  • Ability to navigate through complex business environments and work with cross functional teams
  • Work towards ensuring AMD is a preferred brand among Retailers/ channels.
  • Ability to demonstrate & communicate AMD Value Proposition to Retail/Channel partners via Trainings, Webinars etc.
  • Manage a high degree of accountability and discipline for all aspects of operational management like Pipeline management, Program Management, Customer Claims etc.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 10+ years of Experience in managing Retail/Channel partners (Yamada, Bic Camera, Yodobashi, etc.)
  • Sound understanding of Consumer PC business in Japan. (Preferred)
  • Team Player
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams – Internal & External.
  • Go Getter & Self driven attitude!
