THE PERSON:

• An ideal candidate for this role will be a self-directed, high-output individual with a technical and execution background in data center servers and experience in engineering and/or architecture. Additional key attributes for success in our fast-paced culture include:
• The leader must collaborate well with cross-company development, manufacturing, and business leads to deliver high quality products at competitive costs and schedule.
• He/she need to have Executive level communications skills and a problem resolution mindset given the fast-paced environment and high degree of visibility with the most senior leaders inside and outside of the company.
• He/she should have server technical leadership skills to drive thru program inception to customer launch for top server product lines. Sound and rapid decision-making skills, ability to handle ambiguity, and consistent visible leadership during customer issues is a must.
• He/she must have experience of building a high-functioning, large organization across multiple geos internationally.
• He/she must have deep technology experience/understanding for areas like PCIe, RAS, System software, Security, Memory, CXL, System Manageability, Networking, Debug etc.
• He/she must have knowledge on server CPU, GPU SoC microarchitecture and system architecture w/ understanding of post- and pre-silicon flows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be the team lead and drive the team while setting the technical direction and goals. 
• Work with end customers and partners to gather product requirements and distill them into architectural features 
• Guide internal implementation teams to convert architectural specs into hardware. Firmware and software features 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in managing and leading an engineering team
• Foundation in SOC micro-architecture and design with experience in one or more of the following: CPU/GPU, Neural Network Processors, Memory sub-system.
• Demonstrated executive level leadership plus management capabilities
•  Demonstrated large project leadership experience
• Strong technical skills related to computer architecture/RTL/microarchitecture, system architecture, 
• Deep expertise in RAS/Security / System software
• Demonstration of contribution to industry standards and involvement in OCP subgroups 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

BSEE; MSEE preferred
