THE ROLE:

We are searching for a senior technical leader to help drive and develop future generations of AMD CPUs. This leader will have a high visibility role in future industry-leading CPU development, from early concept through production.  This is an experienced, high-performing team developing state of the art microprocessors.

THE PERSON:

This role combines strong people leadership and teamwork skills, technical expertise, and management skills for a large-scale and complex development environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Functional management of the Cores team and team development
• Development of future high-performance CPUs in collaboration with teams and peers across multiple domestic and global sites

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Demonstrated leadership and team building plus management capabilities
• Proven large project leadership experience
• Strong technical skills, preferably with a computer architecture/RTL/microarchitecture or closely related background
• Demonstrated working knowledge/expertise in end-to-end CPU development process, from early concept through production, logical and physical views, etc

• Relevant academic qualifications and experience
