THE ROLE:
As the leader of AMD's SW portfolio, you will own the end to end product management of the security and manageability roadmap. You will provide the leadership, vision, and execution necessary to drive the strategic SW portfolio direction of Client products. In addition to working side by side with the HW product management team, some of the best engineers in the world, you will also get exposure to partners, teams and executives across the company in this high-profile role.
THE PERSON:
You are a highly motivated self-starter with experience across enterprise SW with a focus on security and manageability. You have strong technical acumen as well as analysis and problem-solving skills. You exhibit strong attention to details and effective communication. You engage well with customers and partners while navigating through potential roadblocks. Accomplished listener who can analyze, abstract, communicate the big picture, status, progress, and success to upper management. You will develop, provide strategy, vision, and direction to multiple functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Solicit, collect and assemble customer/end-user/market feedback and requirements related to security and manageability
- Engage and collaborate with key architects, engineering and business partners, and outside partners and specialists
- Incorporate feedback to Client product vision, requirements, specifications, critical metrics
- Drive the product strategy, execution and GTM plans for products
- Create collateral and analyses to support the positioning and launch of said products
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and PR to drive a successful launch
- Ensure value prop is understood by stakeholders and everyone is able to articulate it as part of the Client story
- Drive attainment of business metrics
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience in Product Marketing, Product Management or Business Development within the high-tech, semiconductor and/or gaming industries with a focus on software, security and manageability domains
- Experience working with CPU, discrete GPUs and/or integrated GPUs or OEMs
- Proven customer advocate. Deep experience in collecting voice of customer
- Strong market and industry knowledge and experience for PC software
- Experience developing products and solutions for global markets
- Demonstrable experience with market analysis and technology road-mapping
- Proven track record of innovation
- Hands-on experience analyzing, building and communicating business cases
- Good understanding of the B2B and B2C business models, and experience with both
- Strong self-starter who takes initiative and can work in and through high-pressure environments
- Previous experience working directly with Media, analysts, customers
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelors or Master's degree in related discipline preferred

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
