THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly experienced accounting professional to join our team in a senior capacity within a US multinational corporation. This role will report directly to the Senior Director and play a critical part in driving accounting excellence, ensuring compliance, and supporting complex business programs through strong technical accounting expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and oversee accounting activities to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, with strong emphasis on US GAAP.
• Review and interpret complex contracts and business arrangements, translating them into appropriate accounting treatments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, operations, commercial) to operationalize accounting requirements for new and existing programs.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support for non-routine, complex transactions.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, including month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, controls, and documentation.
• Support audits (internal and external), including preparation of technical accounting memos and documentation.
• Assess accounting implications of new business initiatives, contracts, and revenue models.
• Mentor and guide junior team members where applicable.

PREFERRED EXPEREINCE:

• 8–12+ years of relevant experience, including Big 4 audit or advisory experience (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with accounting standard (experience with US GAAP is a plus).
• Proven experience in analyzing and accounting for complex contracts (e.g., revenue recognition, multi-element arrangements, long-term agreements).
• Demonstrated ability to apply accounting knowledge to real business operations and programs.
• Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in technology, semiconductor, or similar industries.
• Exposure to system implementations or process transformation initiatives.
• Prior experience supporting global or regional accounting operations.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
