THE ROLE: 

We are looking for an experienced Engineer with an obsession for firmware. As part of the role, this engineer will work closely with other firmware engineers, developers and QAs across various IPs in validating firmware and releasing IFWI that spans production phases for a special Data center project. 

 

THE PERSON: 

You are passionate about firmware development with creative and effective problem-solving skills, a motivated, self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively in fast paced environments. You have excellent technical communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Perform hands-on debugging of FW components in production environments to ensure high quality IFWI releases
  • System setup & configuration, execute test cases and analyze results to triage and identify FW issues..
  • Collect, analyze and summarize debug logs.
  • Develop internal debugging tools & automation scripts.
  • Validate firmware deliverables to meet quality and performance benchmarks.
  • Triage system-level issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes.
  • Document debugging steps and share best practices across the team to improve efficiency and knowledge transfer.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong understanding of system architecture and embedded systems.
  • Experience with IFWI & BKC configuration for system setup & validation.
  • Hands on triage, regression & debugging experience on the real issues.
  • Proactive problem-solving and ownership of tasks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering and QA teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Bachelors or Masters degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
