KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the strategy and implementation of post-silicon validation, encompassing power-on, enablement, stress testing, manufacturing, and customer sampling phases.
  • Develop test procedures to identify hardware and software defects, incorporating metrics to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Create Python scripts for testing, collecting metrics, and characterization.
  • Create validation methodologies to bridge the gaps between IP verification and system validation.
  • Interact with external customers and partners for issue debugging and co-validation efforts.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-10 years of experience as an HSIO Validation subject matter expert (PCIE Gen 5 or equivalent)
  • Experience in creating validation solutions for link controllers, protocols, bus performance, and data traffic integrity.
  • Experience in developing test methodologies for GPU-to-GPU interconnects, such as AMD Infinity Fabric or NVLINK.
  • Proficient in GPU programming and System on Chip (SoC) design concepts, including RTL, firmware, and driver development.
  • Experienced Linux user
  • Proficient in writing efficient Python code
  • Implementing best practices for modular code development, including third-party tool integration.
  • Clock and signal analysis using high bandwidth oscilloscopes and fixtures (LeCroy, TEK, or Keysight).
