THE ROLE: 

We are seeking a highly motivated Silicon Design Engineering Graduate Trainee to join our team and work towards design, built, and delivery of AMD's high-end products.

THE PERSON: 

You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and able to communicate with other engineers located in different sites/time zones. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

In this role you will participate in one or more of (but not limited to) the below assignments –

• Collaborate and communicate with team members to understand task that require to deliver
• Understanding architecture specifications requirements and completing all duties assigned by the Supervisor.
• Participate in RTL design in Verilog

• Develop scripting for daily task execution efficiency improvement.

• Some other tasks that we may assign you will include analysis of documentation, RTL coding, RTL delivery (i.e., static check enablement and signoff)

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

• Advanced knowledge of Design flow and state of the art verification flow
• Proficient with Verilog, System Verilog
• Good at TCL/shell/perl/python programming
• Able to suggest fixes and solutions to test/design errors
• Familiarity with industry standard high-speed protocols such as PCIE is a plus
• Capable of independently driving tasks and activities to completion in an organized and timely manner with excellent quality

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
