The Role

AMD is seeking a proactive, growth-oriented, and data-driven HR professional to join our HR team in Shanghai. This role focuses on HR reporting, program management, and AI-enabled transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and key stakeholders to deliver HR programs, generate actionable insights, and drive operational excellence.

As AMD continues to embrace AI-enabled ways of working, the ability to leverage AI tools and technologies to improve productivity, streamline processes, and enhance HR outcomes will be a key success factor in this role.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with effective project management and stakeholder partnership skills. They are curious, adaptable, and passionate about continuous learning, with the ability to translate data into insights and drive execution in a fast-paced, global environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze HR and talent data to identify trends, generate insights, and support workforce and talent-related decisions.
  • Develop executive summaries, dashboards, reports, and presentations for HRBP and business leaders.
  • Support the planning and execution of key HR programs, including performance management, talent planning, leadership development, rewards planning, and engagement surveys.
  • Manage program timelines, communications, stakeholder updates, and project deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Partner with HRBPs and stakeholders to support the implementation of HR initiatives, policies, and processes.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and technologies to improve productivity, enhance reporting capabilities, and streamline workflows.
  • Identify and promote practical AI use cases, best practices, and continuous improvement opportunities across HR.
  • Build strong partnerships across local and global HR teams and contribute to cross-functional projects.

 

Preferred Experience

  • 2+ years of working experience in HR Advisor, HR Analyst, HR Generalist, or related HR experience in multinational companies, preferably the HR role interfacing with engineering functions in major MNCs of hi-tech industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Experience creating executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Experience supporting HR programs, projects, reporting, or change initiatives.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a global environment and collaborating with stakeholders across regions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success leveraging AI-powered tools and technologies to improve productivity, simplify workflows, or deliver measurable outcomes.
  • High attention to detail, strong execution skills, and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Overseas education and/or international work experience are strongly preferred.
  • Experience in semiconductor, high-tech, engineering, or R&D environments is a plus.

 

Academic Credentials

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university.
