THE ROLE:

The HR (Human Resources) Business Partner Manager is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate HR professional who has shown strong execution, end-to-end ownership and is ready for a new challenge in an innovative, highly vibrant environment. THE PERSON:

The ideal person for this role will coach, advise, and facilitate conversations with AMD engineering on successful human capital strategies, provide business insights through org and talent analytics, and develop and drive program initiatives across the broader functions. An appetite for creative problem solving and continuous improvement. Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable leading multiple assignments

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Business Partnering
  • Provide HR consultation, partnership and assistance to HR COE, Functional HRBP, Business Leaders and other relevant stakeholders in all corporate HR programs and its related ad-hoc projects at multiple regional sites.
  • Provide best in class recommendation and valued feedback to business leaders, HR COE and other stakeholders in relation to regional HR programs.
  • Partner with Site Leaders and site leadership to drive site goals, planning and it's activities.
  • Provide guidance and recommendation to managers on compliance and performance management and the Next 5%.
  • Serve as business point of escalation for people and HR policy and process.
  • Partner with HR COE and Business Units for regional HR communication, HR program awareness and project execution.
  • Provide input and recommendations on development of HR and related policies in the business functions.
  • Identify and drive best HR practices across function and regional sites for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to strengthen employer branding, talent pipeline, university relation and talent retention.
  • Partner with Learning and Development to drive corporate and regional learning activities.
  • Encourage and drive business for Diversity, Belonging and Inclusion at the regional sites.
  • Partner with Employee Relations and Business on employee's Performance Improvement Plan and disciplinary.
  • Partner with Total Rewards to collect employee feedback, drive TR awareness, and sharing of regional market intelligence.
     

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong HRBP background, analytical and people/conflict management skillset.
  • Able to build strong relationships and trust within the business, HR COEs and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate data driven decision making, analytical skills and problem solving in day to day partnership with business ad HR COEs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, proven ability to adapt and navigate in VUCA environment.
  • Possess strong influencing skills.
  • Ability to 'connect the dots' and see the big picture.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills, time management, prioritisation and multi-tasking abilities.
     

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related discipline from an accredited University.
