THE ROLE
AMD HR is seeking an experienced HR Strategic Programs & M&A Integration Manager to drive high-impact initiatives that advance enterprise priorities, accelerate operational transformation, and support mergers and acquisitions integration. This individual contributor role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, partnering across HR and the business to translate priorities into actionable plans and scalable solutions that strengthen HR effectiveness. As a member of the HR M&A team, you will play a critical role in supporting acquisitions through pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, and post-close stabilization, helping ensure a seamless employee transition into AMD. Working closely with senior HR and business leaders, you will influence outcomes, improve processes, and provide executive-ready insights that drive informed decision-making and measurable business results.

With strong communication skills and executive presence, you excel at synthesizing complex information, anticipating risks, and driving alignment across global, matrixed teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to assess complex business challenges, align cross-functional priorities, and develop practical, scalable solutions that support strategic HR initiatives and M&A integration outcomes.
- Manage and coordinate HR M&A integration activities across pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, post-close execution, and stabilization efforts.
- Develop and maintain integration plans, project trackers, governance materials, executive updates, and key deliverables to ensure alignment, visibility, and successful execution across concurrent initiatives.
- Drive post-close stabilization programs and priority integration activities in partnership with M&A leadership and HR functional teams.
- Implement process improvement initiatives that simplify operations, strengthen controls, and identify opportunities for system enhancements and AI-enabled ways of working.
- Design and execute project and deployment plans with clear governance, change management strategies, milestones, and measurable success criteria.
- Prepare concise, executive-ready communications that provide visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and business outcomes.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience leading global HR programs, strategic initiatives, organizational transformation efforts, and change management programs.
- Background in HR Centers of Excellence (COE), HR Business Partner (HRBP), HR Shared Services, or enterprise HR operations environments.
- Experience supporting HR mergers and acquisitions integration activities, including pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, post-close execution, and stabilization.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand new businesses, operating models, and HR environments.
- Expertise in program and project management, including prioritization, dependency management, and execution of complex initiatives.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and driving adoption across multicultural, cross-functional, and globally matrixed organizations.
- Proficiency leveraging Microsoft Office applications, AI-enabled tools, and other technologies to create executive communications, project analyses, and decision-ready materials.
- Experience facilitating process improvements and driving recommendations through implementation.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field is considered an advantage.
