THE ROLE:

The AECG HW Design team is looking for Hardware Design Lead with Hands on experience in driving and designing the Highspeed Hardware platforms. Ideal candidate would be working on the HW Design, development, tests, implements and/or enhances electrical systems.

 

THE PERSON:

This person should be self-driven and demonstrated good technical skills with successful HW Systems designs and should be able Lead multiple platform designs . A strong written and verbal communicator with strong problem solving skills along with professional interpersonal communication skills.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for project deliverables like detailed design specifications, schematics and BOM
  • Responsible for leading 2-3 hardware resources in delivering the Hardware Designs
  • Work with cross functional teams, understand the design requirements, design the system/ subsystem and participate in the design reviews
  • Design schematics of digital, mix signal & power electronics circuits that satisfy the design requirements
  • Interact with PCB layout teams and finalize the component placement considering the Mechanical and SI/PI constraints
  • Component selection process and able to work with vendors in finalizing the components that meets the design requirements.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experienced with the complete HW development life-cycle from Design Conception, Execution, Fabrication & Assembly, board Bring-up & Testing
  • Strong Board Design Fundamentals pertaining to Mixed signal design, High Speed board design, and Power Design.
  • Experience in working with different embedded microprocessor based on Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel or similar
  • Adept in designing interfaces with the Bus communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, RS232
  • Experience in working with High Speed I/Os like PCIe, Memory (DDRx, LPDDRx), MIPI C-PHY/D-PHY, USB3.0/USB4.0 and Ethernet interfaces
  • Expert in using the EDA tools for schematics and Layout tools, mainly Cadence PCB tools
  • Experienced with simulation tools like PSPICE/LTSPICE
  • Hands-on lab experiences using Oscilloscopes, DMM, spectrum analyzer and Debugger tools
  • Fundamental knowledge Signal Integrity and Power Integrity
  • Experience with any of the SI/PI simulation tools like Hyperlynx, Sigrity, Ansys and ADS will be a plus
  • Experience with scripting using TCL or Python will be a plus

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • B.Tech/BE/Master in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 10Yrs
