THE ROLE:

Client system focusing on memory sub-system validation, power and performance on AMD products.  The goal of the team is to ensure AMD APU/CPU memory sub-system quality before releasing to customer and market and improve customers' experience so as to lead to a positive sentiment for AMD brand in China. 

THE PERSON:

We're looking for an engineer with deep technical knowledge in system validation, special in memory and power and leadership on test plan development and drive issue debug.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute system level memory sub-system enablement and validation test plans across AMD products.
• Work with global teams closely to define test strategy, work out smart validation plan on memory power features and fast response on issue debug.
• Collaborate with teams and drive the work end to end from planning, execution, issue debug to production release.
• Deliver professional project report to management, highlight risk in time with solution plans.
• Smart and initiative on data analysis to consistently optimize process, efficiency, and quality improvement.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• BE+ or Master degree with 7+/5+ years' experience of validation, debug in related industry.
• Familiar with memory sub-system validation, power and performance testing flow.
• Excellent communication skills with good written and fluent oral English skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate with a variety of engineering disciplines and management.
• Strong PC technology background and familiar with x86 system, APU/CPU/GPU products, system features, power management, etc.
• Be enthusiastic on PC area.  Familiar with status and trend of China market and sensitive to the requirement or changes of market requirement.
• Self-Motivated with program management skillset.
• DV skillset is a plus.
