KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement a comprehensive validation test plan for high-speed transceivers and HSADC/HSDAC DSP systems.
  • Oversee the characterization of high-speed transceivers (PCS) by defining robust testing methodologies and mentoring engineers in the development of effective characterization test patterns.
  • Lead the characterization of HSADC/HSDAC DSP architectures, establishing innovative testing methodologies and guiding engineers in creating efficient characterization test patterns.
  • Identify and facilitate the development of new business opportunities by addressing customer requirements for out-of-spec use cases through structured Change Development (SCD).
  • Validate pre-silicon test designs using advanced simulation and emulation techniques, ensuring designs meet performance specifications.
  • Troubleshoot silicon and customer issues related to RFDC and high-speed transceivers, providing effective solutions and technical guidance.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 15 years of experience in system/IP validation and system design, including validating test designs pre-silicon via simulation and emulation techniques.
  • Proficiency in Verilog and VHDL programming languages.
  • Strong knowledge of high-speed transceiver architecture and RF functionalities, with experience in developing relevant testing cases.
  • Background in embedded software development, including embedded C/C++ programming and test development.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across various geographies to debug silicon and customer issues and drive resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new technical concepts.
