Job Summary

 

As part of AMD's distinguished HR Talent Acquisition Team, this leadership role is pivotal within the Workforce Solutions team, driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance, and delivering exemplary service through effective collaboration with internal teams and MSP/VMS partners. The ideal candidate will optimize workforce processes, oversee quality assurance initiatives, and lead strategic improvements.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operational Coordination & Scheduling

  • Direct day-to-day MSP partner activities, including contractor onboarding oversight, scheduling, and task assignments.
  • Work with various teams to proactively prioritize and resolve technical or operational challenges to meet established schedules, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Oversee real-time MSP workflows within MSP Operations, such as ticket queue management.
  • Collaborate closely with AMD stakeholders (e.g., Engagement Managers, Operations Teams, HRBPs).
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, cultivating a culture of talent advisory within the AMD Workforce Solutions team.

SLA & Performance Monitoring

  • Partner with MSP representatives to report on SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics via regular updates.
  • Conduct audits in the Vendor Management System (VMS) to ensure compliance with AMD and program standards.

Supplier & Vendor Management

  • Support initiatives around rate governance, cost controls, and vendor rationalization.
  • Attend regular supplier performance reviews, utilize scorecard assessments, and participate in business reviews.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to labor regulations, safety standards, and classification criteria (including independent contractor review support with EOR/AOR suppliers).
  • Maintain accurate documentation, audit preparedness, and compliance with site- and corporate-level policies.
  • Facilitate process and policy education for engagement managers and suppliers.

VMS Technology Management

  • Oversee daily usage of VMS systems, ensuring data integrity, user accuracy, and proper workflow adherence.
  • Train hiring managers and suppliers in system processes and updates.
  • Collaborate with MSP and internal IT to resolve issues and enhance system utilization.

Quality Assurance & Coaching

  • Manage QA processes to evaluate MSP deliverables, providing focused feedback and coaching.
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation that accurately reflects current practices.

Communication & Escalations

  • Act as the primary escalation point, identifying root causes and recommending effective resolutions.
  • Ensure consistent communication with stakeholders, enhancing cross-functional collaboration.

Process Improvement & Strategic Oversight

  • Identify and recommend workflow optimizations and process enhancements proactively.
  • Support initiatives to scale and advance the reach, efficiency, and quality of the MSP program.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain precise records regarding requisition activity, candidate disposition, and onboarding procedures.
  • Provide timely and insightful reporting to senior leadership.

SOW & International Program Support (Preferred)

  • Review SOW requests to determine appropriate worker type, coordinate with suppliers, maintain documentation, and track key milestones (preferred).
  • Provide support to international teams/sites as needed, ensuring alignment on global reporting, compliance, and supplier relations.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum five years in MSP coordination or relevant staffing/workforce management roles.
  • Proven proficiency in rate card analysis, cost modeling, and vendor negotiations.
  • At least two years of leadership experience overseeing direct reports.
  • Technical competency with VMS platforms (e.g., Beeline, Fieldglass) and analytical/reporting tools such as Excel or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Superior verbal and written communication abilities; adept at engaging stakeholders across all levels.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines within dynamic settings.
  • Customer-focused approach with verifiable service delivery expertise.
  • Self-driven and proactive, capable of working independently.
