THE ROLE:

You will be responsible for planning and executing AMD-led marketing activities for the embedded business (B2B) across various business segments in India and ASEAN. This role will collaborate closely with distributors, system integrators (SIs), and ecosystem partners to drive co-marketing initiatives, demand generation, and account-based marketing (ABM) programs that strengthen AMD's position across the region.

 

THE PERSON:

You will be strategic yet hands-on B2B marketer with experience in channel/partner marketing, event execution, demand generation, and content localization. The successful candidate is a confident communicator and relationship-builder who can engage effectively with distributor and partner stakeholders, and a passionate, creative thinker comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-country environment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and execute integrated regional customer-facing marketing activities, including AMD-led direct marketing programs and co-marketing activities with distributors and ecosystem partners across India and ASEAN.
  • Drive account-based marketing (ABM) and demand generation programs in partnership with the sales and channel teams.
  • Own on-ground event execution, including large-scale industry events (e.g., India Mobile Congress) and AMD lab/customer-facing events; oversee event agencies and vendors to ensure execution excellence, on-site quality, and safety standards.
  • Manage marketing vendors and agencies to deliver against KPIs, timelines, and budget.
  • Manage regional marketing funds (MDF/co-op) to ensure cost optimization and on-track quarterly spend.
  • Drive local content creation with partners and customers to increase regional relevancy and resonance with embedded/developer audiences.
  • Manage and coordinate digital marketing execution across countries in scope — working with the in-house digital marketing lead to localize paid, social, and promotional plans (this role oversees execution rather than hands-on campaign build).
  • Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, SIs, OEMs, and ecosystem partners to unlock co-marketing opportunities and optimize regional resources.
  • Travel quarterly to India and periodically across ASEAN for partner engagement, event execution, and market activation.  

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant marketing experience in the semiconductor, high-tech, or B2B technology industry (corporate side preferred; agency background acceptable if focused on high-tech/semiconductor clients).
  • Proven channel or partner marketing experience working with distributors, SIs, or ecosystem partners.
  • Experience driving demand generation and/or account-based marketing (ABM) programs in a B2B context.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals — paid media, promotional strategy, and social media — sufficient to manage and localize digital plans across countries (deep hands-on digital execution is not required).
  • Event management experience, including large-scale industry events with on-site ownership.
  • Project management experience working directly with cross-functional teams and multiple external partners across geographies.
  • Negotiation skills sufficient to structure co-marketing agreements with distributors and partners.
  • Prior experience covering India, ASEAN, and/or ANZ markets is highly desirable.
  • Technical background or exposure to embedded/developer audiences is a plus.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with an excellent command of English (written and verbal).
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office; high proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
