Senior Technical Automation Engineer:
THE ROLE:
The right engineer will drive the success of power IP (Intellectual Property) and features in AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) products through leadership & coordination, resolution of technical dependencies, and achievement of schedule commits. This is a high-visibility and widely multi-functional role, spanning pre-silicon architecture to post-silicon implementation & product delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engineer with 8 to 15 years of experience in Embedded Linux, use-case automation
- Seeking an experienced engineer to implement and execute automation of robotics stack tests and workflows.
- Has 5+ years of experience in Robotics domain
- Architect and maintain scalable Python-based test frameworks for simulation, integration, and HIL environments.
- Drive end to end automation of build, test, and deployment pipelines within CI/CD systems.
- Lead the design of regression suites, scenario based tests, and performance validation workflows.
- Oversee automation tooling for logs, metrics, triage, traceability, and reproducibility.
- Collaborate with robotics dev , QA, and DevOps teams to enhance quality, reliability, and coverage.
- Improve system-wide stability by reducing flakiness, optimizing pipeline throughput, and strengthening quality gates.
- Build and maintain reusable automation libraries, internal tools, and infrastructure components.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, Linux, shell scripting, Git, and test automation principles.
- Experience with ROS/ROS2, simulators (Gazebo/Ignition/CARLA/Webots), and robotics validation workflows preferred.
- Solid CS fundamentals: Computer Science degree required.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD frameworks (GitHub Actions/GitLab/Jenkins), and distributed test environments.
- Strong leadership, design, and cross-functional communication skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Product development or systems engineering background with hardware platforms and their software & firmware ecosystems
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
