THE ROLE: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Marketing Engineer with deep expertise in Signal Integrity (SI). In this role, you will be responsible for driving customer engagement, optimizing design practices, and ensuring the effective application of signal integrity principles in high-speed digital and communication systems. You will collaborate with marketing, sales, product management, and engineering teams to develop and deliver technical content, training, and solutions that emphasize best practices in signal integrity. This position requires a strong foundation in signal integrity and high-speed design principles. with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex system-level challenges related to signal integrity are essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Serve as the subject matter expert on Signal Integrity (SI) solutions and best practices, offering in-depth technical support to internal teams (marketing, product management, sales) and external customers
- Develop and deliver high-quality technical marketing materials, such as whitepapers, technical articles, blog posts, case studies, and application notes, that focus on signal integrity principles, challenges, and optimization techniques for high-speed designs
- Lead technical discussions and presentations for customers, partners, and at industry events (e.g., webinars, trade shows, conferences). Address customer requirements and provide technical recommendations for optimizing signal integrity in complex designs
- Provide expert guidance on common SI challenges, including reflections, jitter, crosstalk, and noise. Help customers optimize their designs for reliable performance in high-speed, high-frequency applications
- Conduct internal and external demonstrations, highlighting the impact of optimized signal integrity on overall system performance, with applications in high-performance computing, networking, automotive, and communications
- Develop and deliver technical training sessions for both internal teams (sales, application engineers) and external customers, ensuring stakeholders understand the fundamentals and advanced concepts of signal integrity for high-speed interfaces
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and sales teams to influence product development based on customer feedback, market trends, and technical requirements related to signal integrity
- Stay current with the latest developments in signal integrity principles, industry standards, and competitive offerings. Analyze customer feedback and market trends to help shape product strategies and solutions
- Assist in conducting benchmarking and performance analysis of high-speed systems, offering clear, data-driven insights to validate signal integrity performance and guide product improvement
- Strong background in high-speed SerDes protocols and standards (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, USB, CXL, DP, JESD204B/C, 112G/224G PAM4, etc.) along with their signal integrity considerations
- Experience with signal integrity analysis and optimization, including addressing issues like jitter, crosstalk, reflections, and noise in high-speed designs
- Experience with simulation and analysis tools (e.g., HyperLynx, Ansys, Cadence, Keysight ADS) for evaluating signal integrity performance and challenges
- Expert knowledge of signal integrity principles for high-speed interfaces, including timing analysis, impedance mismatches, jitter analysis, crosstalk mitigation, and signal degradation
- Strong understanding of how signal integrity principles influence the performance of high-speed data transmission across complex systems
- Proficiency with measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers (VNAs), and advanced signal integrity software for performance evaluation
- Experience with high-speed digital design and PCB layout practices, specifically for optimizing signal integrity in high-speed serial interfaces
- Ability to analyze and resolve signal integrity issues (e.g., reflections, noise) to ensure system reliability and performance
- Awareness of emerging technologies in the signal integrity space, including next-generation protocols, high-speed signaling techniques, and design practices
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
