THE PERSON: 

• We are looking for a seasoned Power and Performance Optimization Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and hands-on experience. He will be collaborating closely with customers to tackle challenges related to computation & I/O performance. This role demands strong teamwork & communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Serve as the subject matter expert for x86 server performance analysis & optimization, specializing in the tuning of AMD server processor-based systems for enhanced power and performance.
• Support world wide customers for performance validation & optimization with industry standard computation benchmarks.
• Debug network & storage performance issues related to bandwidth & latency.
• Collaborate with customers to enhance energy efficiency at both silicon & system level .
  Work with cross-function teams to identify and implement advanced power management features to achieve higher efficiency ratings.
• Develop whitepapers, conduct training, and lead workshops to enable customers on the EPYC product line.
• Deliver essential engineering support for business development, facilitating design-win expansion and promoting business growth.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

• Strong team work & communication skills is required
• Experience in server industry performance benchmarks or synthetic workloads is preferred
• Strong English written and speaking skill is a must
• Must be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

• Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 6+ years of extensive experience in the areas of server performance optimization
