THE ROLE:
As part of AMD's SoC MBIST team, you will play a critical role in the design and verification of Design-for-Test (DFT) and Debug features in complex AMD products. This position offers the opportunity to engage in all phases of project execution, from high-level definition and test planning to design, verification, and silicon bring-up. You will also collaborate with Platform Debug teams, providing support for in-lab activities.

We are looking for a self-motivated problem solver with strong technical expertise and communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, can independently drive tasks to completion, and has the flexibility to take on diverse responsibilities. Leadership and mentoring experience is a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute MBIST insertion flow and resolve integration-related issues
- Perform MBIST simulations, debug issues, and deliver MBIST patterns
- Collaborate closely with integration owners and cross-functional teams
- Provide support during silicon bring-up and lab activities
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Expertise in MBIST design and verification
- Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, and C/C++
- Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python) is a plus
- Strong analytical and debugging skills with great attention to detail
- Familiarity with the ASIC design flow, especially DFT/DFD methodologies
- Hands-on experience with JTAG/IEEE standards, power-gating, and on-chip debug logic is an advantage
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
