SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER 2 

THE ROLE: 

We are looking for a dynamic, upbeat software engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor you will be part of a leading team to drive and enhance AMD's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market. We are looking for motivated engineers who enjoy collaborating with team members across various domains and contributing to building applications for ML use cases.

THE PERSON: 

The ideal candidate possesses an innovative and problem-solving mindset, has a keen eye for Software engineering development, and is diligent and passionate about Technology.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Maintain and enhance existing in-house full stack applications.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to implement various feature requirements.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• 2 Years of experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable systems
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a focus on the user experience
• Experience developing full stack using languages in JavaScript, TypeScript and Python
• Experience with one or more frameworks such as ExpressJs, Fastify etc.
• Experience working with one or more relational databases
• Experience developing with Git, and Docker
• Comfortable with Windows, Linux or other Unix-Based operating systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, and its security implications
• Strong understanding of ReactJs fundamental
• Experience working with RabbitMQ or any other messaging queue system
• Experience writing software with PostgreSQL and Redis
• Knowledge in NoSQL is a plus

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
