THE ROLE:

This Sr. Manager Program Manager will serve as a strategic role to the leadership team, driving execution excellence, cross-functional alignment, and organizational effectiveness

 

THE PERSON:

He or she will work closely with the leadership team and a wide range of stakeholders throughout the company to help meet strategic objectives and focus on organizational operations including IP program/project operations, program budgets, HC management, and hiring needs across a diverse portfolio of solutions and product types.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Chief of Staff to VP- SBIO ( South Bridge I/O ) Design Team
  • Resource/Budget management ( Headcount, staffing, hiring, budgeting )
  • Project scoping experience ( funding; resource; schedule)
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and within scope.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority, drive cross-functional alignment, and lead through ambiguity.
  • Convey information clearly and at a level appropriate for both senior executives and individual stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic thinker for continuous improvement, and a collaborative, inclusive approach.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Project/program management, operations, or strategic planning roles, preferably in semiconductor ASIC design environments.
  • Proven experience in program management in IP design environment.
  • Proficiency in project tracking tools, dashboards, and presentation software (e.g., PowerBI, PowerPoint, Confluence, Excel, Jira, Jama).
  • Experience managing large complex and high impact engineering / business projects.
  • Experienced working with diverse matrix organizations and virtual teams.
  • Proven communication and presentation skills.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Master's degree preferred).

 

LOCATION:  Santa Clara, CA ( Open to other AMD locations)
