Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc. is hiring Sr. Product Development Engineers to Design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes, including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. Evaluate, coordinate and/or optimize various logistical functions and production processes to help ensure efficient operations of global semiconductor supply chain. Support AMD's integration into product engineering organization by conducting complex data analyses and planning multiple sample phases for internal and external customers. Understand AMD product features and optimize test flow for cost/quality and develop end-to-end characterization test plans. Drive yield improvements by highlighting test flow coverage holes during manufacture/fabrication and testing of product. Root-cause and correct failures by utilizing linear programming, process improvements, and data analysis and carry out design of experiment to fix parameters causing failures. Serve as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Under supervision, exercise limited judgement within defined company procedures and practices to select methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles. Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various AMD products.

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
