Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc. is hiring a Sr. Product Manager to work closely with internal architecture and engineering teams to enable the requirements that will deliver the best experience on AMD CPUs. Build and drive deep engagements with strategic customers to define and document the next-gen AMD requirements. Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems. Make decisions based on data and ensure a portfolio view is taken of product decisions. Author crisp and compelling product value proposition and positioning and influence marketing. Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies. Create collateral and proof points to support positioning and narrative. Use strong product sense to align the product and platform capabilities with what matters to customers. Integrate expertise in systems architecture, networking, and software engineering to develop comprehensive, ready-to-deploy data center solutions.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Three (3) years of experience in job offered or in a closely related product/operations management or engineering role.

Alternate combination of education and experience: Employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a closely related product/operations management or engineering role.

 

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following:

1.SoC or system architecture;

2.RTL design or coding;

3.Design flows and methodologies used for chip verification;

4.Physical design of deep submicron digital ASIC chips;

5.Large-scale ASIC chip physical design;

6.Submicron ASIC design flow; and

7.ASIC design tools (synthesis, simulation, equivalence checking, static timing analysis).
