THE ROLE:

In this high-profile position, you will serve as the overall program leader for key engineering initiatives from concept through execution. You will collaborate across engineering and business teams to achieve initiative and product objectives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

 

THE PERSON:

The Senior Technical Program Manager brings deep expertise in technical program management and a proven track record of delivering complex hardware/software programs. You will drive schedules, manage dependencies, and support business planning toward growth in alignment with corporate strategy.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define, plan, and execute projects and program plans based on senior technical and management guidance.
  • Assess technical feasibility of new products by clarifying and analyzing requirements with SW/HW architects, technical leads, and engineers.
  • Develop comprehensive program schedules, considering drivers, software stack components, and HW/FW dependencies; negotiate and create staffing plans to support delivery.
  • Build and maintain well-structured program plans, ensuring disciplined execution and governance.
  • Establish formal program management artifacts, including plan of record, statements of work, timelines, budgets, scope, and KPIs for performance and quality.
  • Drive excellence in resource planning and allocation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively, implementing prevention strategies to reduce engineering costs.
  • Communicate effectively with senior executives and address requirements from Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Engineering organizations.

 

 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive technical program management experience leading end-to-end silicon programs, from planning through post-silicon validation, with exposure to multiple IP blocks and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical fluency in hardware IP and semiconductor development processes; ability to understand feature implementation, testing, and validation across IP domains.
  • Proven experience collaborating with validation teams and senior engineers on complex hardware programs; skilled at mapping dependencies and impacts across multiple IP blocks.
  • Semiconductor industry experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to translate technical details into executive-level communication, providing clear program plans, risk assessments, and status updates.
  • Demonstrated success driving decisions in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while balancing scope, risk, and schedule across global teams.
  • Proficiency with program management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Teams, Power BI); scripting or automation experience (Python a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; proven ability to build consensus and influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

 ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering 
  • PMP certified a plus
