THE ROLE:
This role is a critical key piece of the strategy to develop AMD's embedded x86 ODM strategy.
THE PERSON:
The ideal person will have strategic marketing and finance background to enable them to build growth initiatives that have measurable ROI. The person's finance background should enable them to build a repeatable contra-based funding model. This person should have excellent communication and presentation skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implementing Embedded x86 ODM Scaling strategy
- Create scalable and financially sound go to market programs for Embedded ODMs
- Enable unified ODM pricing strategy
- Build predictable budget plus return on investment tracking
- Enable repeatable execution across regions and vertical segments
- Enable accelerated design win velocity, improve forecast accuracy/margin control, and enable systematic ecosystem engagements
- Negotiating pricing agreements with ODM's
- Implementing AMD's x86 ODM strategies
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Developing growth initiatives with ODM partners
- Experience leading worldwide ODM pricing strategy
- Design and launch go-to-market programs with ODM partners
- Experience with negotiating pricing agreements with ODM's
- Experience Implementing ODM strategy preferably with x86 environments
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance or marketing
- MBA preferred
LOCATION: San Jose, CA
