THE ROLE

 

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager – Thermal Liquid Cooling to be based in our Secaucus, New Jersey office. This role will lead sourcing and supply chain execution for Thermal Liquid Cooling solutions supporting server and rack-level systems. You will partner closely with suppliers, engineering, and cross-functional teams to ensure material readiness, cost transparency, and supply continuity across all design and NPI milestones.

You thrive in cross-functional collaboration, take ownership through issue resolution, and consistently drive results beyond baseline expectations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead RFQs with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers, including:
    • Costed BOMs
    • NPI development costs
    • Design change history across design milestones
  • Manage and track Thermal Liquid Cooling BOMs and part numbers throughout each phase of the design lifecycle
  • Own raw material readiness with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers:
    • Track and report material shortages
    • Partner with internal functions and suppliers to pull in delivery schedules
    • Proactively reduce supply chain risk
  • Release Thermal Liquid Cooling forecasts and demand orders to suppliers and negotiate delivery commitments
  • Partner with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers and engineering teams to:
    • Identify material readiness risks
    • Execute mitigation plans
    • Reduce excess and obsolete (E&O) exposure
  • Maintain structured trackers and reporting mechanisms to support planning, execution, and decision-making
  • Drive accountability through proactive issue ownership and timely resolution

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

 

  • Experience supporting ODM/OEM manufacturing environments or server system solutions
  • Direct exposure to supply chain, procurement, or sourcing functions
  • Strong understanding of:
    • BOM structures
    • Design processes for Thermal Liquid Cooling in server and rack-level systems
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly:
    • Excel (including data analysis, pivots, and lookups)
    • PowerPoint

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Technology Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual Mandarin preferred
  • Solid foundation in procurement and supply chain principles
