THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain & Business Operations Specialist to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. In this role, you will oversee and provide guidance throughout the entire sales order lifecycle, helping to troubleshoot issues as they arise, and fostering collaboration across key departments including Sales, Marketing, Customer Operations, and Global Operations.

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate brings proven experience in supply chain management, exceptional analytical abilities, and a strong team-oriented approach. You will play an active role in driving process improvement projects for NTSG – Network Technology Solutions Group, participating in cross-functional initiatives to enhance operational workflows, streamline system integrations, and support effective project execution. Working closely with NTSG engineers and project leads, you will help identify opportunities for process optimization, contribute to implementation strategies, and engage in ongoing review and continuous improvement forums.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Sales Order Management & Fulfillment

 

    • Oversee end-to-end sales order processing and troubleshoot order-related issues.
    • Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
    • Investigate transaction discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Forecasting & Planning

  • Gather and synthesize demand forecasts from Sales and Marketing departments.
  • Provide ASIC and board-level forecasting to support the Global Operations team.
  • Monitor and report new business opportunities and evolving demand indicators.
  • Work collaboratively with the Board Operations team to ensure precise demand planning and timely onboarding of suppliers and contract manufacturers, in alignment with customer needs.

Shipment & Backlog Management

  • Oversee shipment fulfillment and ensure timely attainment of delivery objectives.
  • Actively address and resolve backlog concerns to align with customer delivery requirements.
  • Act as the principal point of contact for AMD internal teams, offering prompt updates on shipment status and facilitating efficient issue resolution.

Inventory Management

    • Oversee inventory levels and accuracy at the Santa Clara site.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to optimize inventory turns and minimize excess/obsolescence.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Global Operations and Quality (GOQ), including BOPS, Logistics, Customer Operations, Procurement, and Legal Compliance, to facilitate seamless order fulfillment and ensure compliance with on-time delivery KPIs.
  • Oversee ERP system accuracy and proactively identify business system deficiencies; work in partnership with GOQ, IT, and Finance teams to automate transactions and strengthen operational efficiency.

S&OP Participation

    • Provide relevant data and insights to facilitate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process..
  • Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate supply and demand.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong relevant experience in supply chain, operations, or similar fields.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to deliver insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
  • Established expertise in project and program management.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (such as SAP and Oracle) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; systems-oriented approach.
  • Strong customer service orientation, meticulous attention to detail, and capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and reliable team player.
  • Experience leading cross-regional teams and collaborating across time zones.
  • Proven success thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
