THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) Lead Platform Systems Debug Engineer to serve as the central technical owner for complex system-level issues across Client platforms.
This role is responsible not only for technical analysis, but also for driving issue clarification, alignment, and resolution across multiple teams.
You will act as the technical “issue conductor”, providing system-level perspective, defining debug direction, and ensuring the right experts and resources are engaged to resolve complex and ambiguous problems.

• Solid system-level understanding and interest in platform-level issues
• Strong hands-on debug skills, able to follow and execute structured debug plans
• Proactive in problem investigation and root cause analysis
• Works well with cross-functional teams under guidance
• Clear technical communication in English
• Willing to learn and grow system-level thinking and debug skills
• Responsible and dependable in driving assigned tasks to completion
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serve as the primary technical lead for complex, cross-functional Client platform issues
• Own issue clarification and problem framing, transforming vague symptoms into actionable debug paths
• Apply system architecture knowledge to guide investigation across HW, FW, OS, drivers, and platform components
• Identify, engage, and coordinate the appropriate domain experts and responsible teams to drive issue resolution
• Lead technical discussions, reviews, and alignment meetings across organizations
• Clearly communicate technical status, hypotheses, and next steps in fluent spoken and written English
• Ensure issues are driven to closure with clear ownership, timelines, and root cause understanding
REQUIRED/PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Strong system architecture and platform-level knowledge (CPU, memory, IO, power, FW, OS interactions)
• Proven experience leading complex system-level debug efforts across multiple teams
• Excellent technical communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to decompose complex problems and define clear debug strategies
• Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority
• Experience acting as a technical focal point or issue lead is highly preferred
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering
