Salary Range: $45,000 – $55,000 (Depending on experience and location)
Summary and Qualifications:
- Facilitate and oversee the behind-the-scenes processes for grant programs and community outreach efforts, providing support for general operating functions, delivering seamless, accurate and consistent information and data administration with a high-degree of customer service.
- Effectively and efficiently support fundraising and donor management strategy across all Mars Veterinary Health (MVH) charitable arms.
- Support communications and social media strategy, writing and delivery for internal and external presence for Banfield Foundation and MVH charitable arms.
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
- Manage the day-to-day function of the Banfield Foundation Optimum Wellness Plans program, which includes updating service sheets; ensuring all updates are incorporated into IT systems; add wellness plans to hospitals as requested; communicate with both hospitals and recipients about program elements; and provide any additional support on program when necessary.
- Assist with the management, tracking and delivery on community-based initiatives as well as the key charitable grant programs.
- Support all foundation program efforts by providing data, communication and administrative assistance.
- Manage the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) database, collecting and maintaining data, segmenting audiences and donors, performing analyses, and creating outreach recommendations and reports.
- Process gifts, including monthly payroll donations, ensuring data integration and integrity for reporting.
- Generate and track tax-receipts and acknowledgement letters in a timely manner.
- Support and coordinate donor outreach activities and opportunities with internal and external partners, including donor mailings, communications and events.
- Manage traditional and social media content as well as internal communications and storytelling efforts to drive engagement, awareness and donations.
- Maintain and monitor donation platform system, including system updates, integration and troubleshooting; serves as point of contact for vendor.
- Oversee the annual filing of all required state and territory registration renewals, accurately and on time.
- Coordinate board meetings, including agendas, board packets and minutes.
- Support Better Together Fund program, including grant tracking, data entry and reporting.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Special Working Conditions:
- Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
- Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
- Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.
- Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.
- Environment where pets are present.
Experience, Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Business Administration or Communications is required, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Three years of experience with nonprofit, communications, event planning, marketing or customer services are required.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), strong attention to detail and organization skills are required.
- Current knowledge and experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred.
