Location: Council Bluffs, IA
Compensation: $23/hr and up
Days/Hours: This will be a day shift job

What you'll be doing:
- Process grain accounting transactions
- Interpret documents from customers (invoices, statements, checks, etc.)
- Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors
- Process timely advances, payments and invoices in grain accounting software
- Process bills for payment
- Identify and resolve exceptions
- Maintain status reports, files and records, which are easily accessible
- Handle both internal and external customer inquiries with positive customer service
- Assist in the purchase of farm products/commodities such as – but not limited to – wheat, corn, sorghum, and/or soybeans
- Work on special projects under direct supervision and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Requirements to be successful in this position:
- High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with grain accounting is preferred.
- Proficiency in math
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
