Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

  • Collaborate with customers and Sales teams to request, collect, and validate software license usage data for assigned BMC products.
  • Analyze customer usage data independently to determine compliance with licensing agreements and clearly communicate findings and outcomes.
  • Support Sales and customers in resolving license compliance matters by providing detailed analysis and clear explanations of BMC licensing policies.
  • Research customer entitlements, contracts, and historical data to ensure accurate compliance assessments.
  • Manage and monitor the shared compliance mailbox, responding promptly to internal and external queries.
  • Meet defined productivity, quality, and SLA targets across assigned compliance activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including tool automation, process enhancement, and documentation within the License Compliance Program.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned products or functional areas within the License Compliance team.

To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Background in basic technical skills such as working knowledge of MS Access; familiarity with AI or automation tools is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret licensing and usage data.
  • Experience in back-office operations or Order Management environments.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in the software industry, customer support, or customer service roles.

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,180,000 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 
The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
