Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

·       Design and develop enterprise applications based on Java/J2EE.

·       Participate in all aspects of product development, from requirements analysis to product release.

·       Responsible for delivery of high-quality enterprise software releases to aggressive schedules.

·       Responsible for database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance.

·       The candidate should have good understanding of data and schema standards and concepts.

·       The candidate should be expertise in SQL and SQL query tuning.

·       The candidate should have working experience with Oracle, Postgres SQL and other relational databases.

·       The candidate should have SAP knowledge.

·       The candidate should be able to independently handle development tasks and challenges.

·       The candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills

Experience/ Qualifications:

·       Overall 6+ years of development experience in Core Java, J2EE, Databases, UNIX/Windows

·       Bachelor or master's degree in computer engineering.

·       Strong skills in design & development of Object-oriented software.

·       Solid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming, data structures and algorithms.

·       Solid understanding of database concepts.

·       Hands-on experience in building scalable Application using core java, multi-threading, databases

·       Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.

·       Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 2,628,600 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 
The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
