Join BMC as a Sales Account Manager focused on Digital Business Automation, helping some of our most strategic enterprise customers accelerate transformation through the power of Control-M. In this role, you will drive new business growth within a defined portfolio of STAR accounts, identifying expansion opportunities, building pipeline, and positioning BMC's automation solutions as a critical enabler of operational efficiency, agility, and innovation.

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC Software's and your own success:
- Drive pipeline creation and new business growth within a focused portfolio of strategic STAR accounts
- Identify, develop, and close expansion opportunities for BMC's Digital Business Automation solutions, with a focus on Control-M
- Engage with a wide range of customer stakeholders—from IT teams to business leadership—to uncover automation and orchestration challenges, align solutions to strategic priorities, and drive new business opportunities
- Develop strategic account growth plans that align BMC's solutions to customer transformation initiatives and business priorities
- Work in close partnership with the Account Director and broader internal ecosystem aligned to each account, including Solution Engineers, specialists, partners, and customer success teams, to maximize customer impact and accelerate deal success
- Maintain strong pipeline discipline, delivering accurate forecasting and consistent opportunity management across complex enterprise sales cycles
To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- You bring a proven track record of success in enterprise software sales, particularly within large, complex customer environments
- You have experience building pipeline and driving new business growth within existing strategic accounts
- You bring experience or knowledge in Control-M, workload automation, data orchestration, or adjacent automation technologies
- You have been trained in structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC and understand how to navigate and close complex enterprise opportunities
- You excel at building relationships with both technical and business stakeholders across multi-threaded sales cycles
- You are collaborative, curious, and motivated to learn, with the ability to quickly build expertise in BMC's Digital Business Automation portfolio

BMC Software maintains a strict policy of not requesting any form of payment in exchange for employment opportunities, upholding a fair and ethical hiring process.The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country-specific benefits. At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range. This roles compensation includes a mix of base salary and variable pay. The base salary range is $104,000 - $156,000, with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) range of $208,000 - $312,000.
