The Senior Agile Partner is a strategic leader responsible for driving Agile adoption and maturity across complex programs. This role ensures the effective implementation of Agile practices by coordinating Agile tool training, fostering cross-team collaboration, and evaluating Agile Engineering methodologies. The Senior Agile Partner serves as a key advisor and coach, facilitating continuous improvement and alignment to program objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the implementation and execution of Agile frameworks across multiple teams within a program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Coordinate and facilitate cross-team Agile ceremonies to promote collaboration and transparent communication.
• Identify and resolve high-impact impediments affecting multiple teams to maintain program focus and delivery momentum.
• Develop, implement, and manage coaching programs for Agile Partners to elevate Agile capabilities and maturity within the program.
• Assess the effectiveness of Agile practices and recommend enhancements to optimize team performance and delivery outcomes.
• Oversee communication strategies across teams, ensuring clear and efficient information exchange.
• Facilitate integration and alignment of Product Backlogs across the program to ensure strategic priorities are clearly defined and managed.
• Aggregate and analyze program progress data to support informed decision-making and strategic reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by measuring impact and refining Agile processes accordingly.
• Manage training and support activities for Agile tool adoption, addressing challenges to ensure consistent and effective usage.
• Evaluate the adoption of Agile Engineering practices, identifying barriers and collaborating with stakeholders to develop solutions.
Qualifications • Extensive experience leading Agile transformations in large-scale, multi-team environments. • Deep knowledge of Scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus. • Strong coaching, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Proficiency with Agile project management tools, including Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps. • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR advanced degree with 6 years of experience required.
Preferred Certifications • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) • ICAgile Certified Professional – Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC)
