The Sales Innovation, Growth and Market Acceleration (SIGMA) group partners with the Sales organization to deliver impactful customer experiences by combining in-depth knowledge of BMC solutions with a deep understanding of the customer's business. By leveraging their technical expertise, value-based selling techniques, and Engagement Excellence deliverables, Presales Engineers helps the customers discover and realize the value that BMC provides to their organizations.

By leveraging their technical expertise, value-based selling techniques, and Engagement Excellence deliverables, Presales Engineers helps the customers discover and realize the value that BMC provides to their organizations.
Join us as a Solution Engineer on our DBA Presales team! As a Solution Engineer, you will be working directly with Sales and Presales organizations in order to create strategy, timelines and deliverables to align customers initiatives to BMC's solutions.
Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
• Through a consultative approach, partner with sales teams to interpret often complex customer needs and develop innovative solutions delivering both business and technical value.
• Simplify the communication of both technical and business content to a varied audience (technical and non-technical customers).
• For a maximum impact on sales engagements, actively partner with the customer to document their current state, including applicable metrics to assist in defining the correct solution and support in business case creation and build deliverables for use by Sales and other Solution Engineers during the sales cycle.
• Culminating from what is uncovered of the customers business and their goals, deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts.
• Challenge oneself and be the innovator when it comes to solving everyday problems.
• As every BMC employee, you will be given the opportunity to learn, be included in global projects, challenge yourself and be the innovator when it comes to solving everyday problems.
To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset and experience:
• You can embrace, live and breathe our BMC values every day!
• 5+ years experience in a presales capacity, or relatable technical role
• Proven ability to develop a broad awareness of the client's technical architecture and emerging technologies with enough knowledge to determine what is and is not possible
• Subject matter expertise on the technology and business use of Control M
• Demonstrated artistry with creating and delivering compelling demonstrations
• Drawing from your previous experiences, you are a subject matter expert on Control M.

Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
