Job Description

Scope and Responsibilities
The Finance Director, Global Operations, will be a key member of the Finance Transformation Team, and will serve as the primary financial business partner and liaison to the EVP Brinks Business System (BBS) and extended Team. This role will partner in driving procurement, operations, and supply chain strategy development and execution through the modeling of financial scenarios and monitoring / analyzing / tracking impacts. The Finance Director, Global Operations, will also support the BBS Team through the direction and coordination of financial planning, budgetary management, annual operational, and long-range planning / budget / forecast development. This role will also ensure adherence to all Company principles, policies, and procedures in relation to BBS.
Specific Responsibilities
· Support BBS strategy and decision making through analysis of key business risks and opportunities, demonstrating solid skills in complex financial modeling / analysis of business scenarios, and enabling appropriate decision making based on business priorities
· Lead, develop, maintain, and report out on both the financial and operational impacts, driven by strategic transformation initiatives led by the BBS Team
· Support development and implementation of tools to improve the tracking and financial validation of cost productivity initiatives along with variance analysis and providing counsel to leadership to mitigate variances
· Support development of control processes to ensure compliance with Procurement policies, which will include analysis of variances between procurement savings expectations and demonstrated impact to financials
· Maintain joint accountability with the business forecast accuracy around applicable transformation initiatives
· Owner of all applicable BBS financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and planning
· Support and partner with the Team, on global policy creation, implementation, and governance
Requirements
Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required; Master's degree and / or CPA / CMA certification preferred
· Minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior level Finance or Operations roles, with companies that operate in a global environment
· Prior experience and proven track record, in a Finance Business Partnering role, collaborating with stakeholders across many functions
Skills and Knowledge
· Super user knowledge in use of financial applications, including Power BI, Microsoft products, Oracle Planning
· Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles, automated financial solutions, and accounting reporting systems
· Ability to dive deep analytically, but then ability to elevate and convey information clearly and concisely to cross functional stakeholders and leaders
· Strong leadership skills including the ability to implement / lead change, influence business strategies, and resolve conflicts
· Team player with an “act like an owner” mindset, with professional written and verbal communication skills
