Job Description

The Legal Analyst role is an integral member of the Global Legal Department at The Brink's Company. This role will support our Global Litigation and Commercial Law Team by assisting with various legal tasks related to commercial matters and litigation. This role will work closely with attorneys, business partners and other stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and efficient processes. The person applying for this position demonstrates curiosity and initiative, has an eye for detail, and identifies opportunities for process and other improvements.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Commercial Law

· Develop processes to support compliance with Brink's contractual commitments

· Assist in the creation and maintenance of contract templates and standard company contract provisions, ensuring consistent and predictable terms

· Maintain and organize template contracts, legal advice, and other documents in the Global Legal Department's collaboration website.

· Respond to requests from internal business partners seeking legal support.

Litigation and Regulatory

· Work alongside the in-house legal teams and external legal counsel to manage regulatory and litigation matters impacting the company

· Collect, organize, and analyze information needed for discovery in administrative, litigation, and investigation matters as directed by legal staff and/or outside counsel.

· Research and gather company records to respond to subpoena and records requests; prepare responses to same; and assist in responding to government audits.

· Support quarterly and annual litigation reporting to Board of Directors, outside auditors and other stakeholders including by synthesizing and analyzing data, coordinating input from Legal Team members and drafting reports.

Administrative and Support

· Assist with developing and implementing legal processes and guidelines.

· Perform general administrative functions, including document signature management, filing/scanning legal documents and contract management.

· Help develop and provide training to employees on legal and compliance matters.

· Maintain and organize legal data and information in Legal Department matter management and e-billing tool (Onit).

· Review, code, and track legal invoices.

· Support legal staff with clerical/administrative matters including creation, organization and delivery of correspondence, PowerPoint slide decks, etc.

· Lead or manage projects of moderate to high complexity and sensitivity with minimal supervision and guidance.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor degree or Associate's degree required.

· Minimum of 3 years as a paralegal or legal analyst, or other relevant legal experience in a similar role; in-house legal department experience strongly preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
