Job Description

Balance Innovations, a division of Brink's Incorporated, seeks a UI Engineer passionate about building innovative SaaS solutions for the retail industry. You will join a small, focused, cross-functional team working with modern web technologies (ReactJS, Node.js, and more) to deliver performant, scalable user interfaces.

What You Will Do

•Design & Develop: Implement and architect new features for our SaaS platform, ensuring high-quality user interfaces with React and GraphQL.

•End User (UX) Champion: Represent the needs of our customers at all stages of development, but especially in early UX Design phases. *

•Code Reusability: Help maintain libraries, components, and shared Micro Front Ends (MFE's) that can be leveraged across multiple products, streamlining future development. *

•Testing & Quality: Use unit and integration tests (Jest, RTL, Cypress) to ensure reliability and performance of UI components. *

•DevOps Collaboration: Support continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring processes as part of our DevOps workflow.

•Performance Optimization: Collaborate with UX/UI teams to maintain efficient size, speed, scalability across supported browsers (primarily Chromium)

Areas Of Expertise

•Technical Proficiencies: Proven record of accomplishments with ReactJS, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, Jest, RTL, Cypress, Git.

•Scalability Mindset: Ability to design solutions with long-term growth in mind (AWS Cloud, GraphQL, Webpack/MFE's, I18n).

•Continuous Improvement: Experience in Kanban/Lean processes; dedication to writing clean, testable code that adheres to coding standards, CI/CD processes.

•Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication, code review participation, and a willingness to mentor and learn from others.

Requirements

· 0-3 years of experience in UI

· Bachelor degree in IT preferred
